"We have had an enquiry about Joe and a fee was mentioned, but we said he is not for sale," said Ridsdale.
"Unless somebody comes in with a bid we haven't even thought about, that situation will not change.
"I have spoken to Joe Ledley and he understands the situation. I expect Joe to be with Cardiff City until the end of this season at least."
"If somebody left a message offering £6m, I may not even ring them back," said Ridsdale.
The offer Ridsdale mentions is thought to be £5m from West Ham. Today though a new rumour has emerged.
The Daily Mirror are claiming that Wigan could offer £4m cash + Jason Koumas who is valued at £2m.
Wigan have cash to spend after selling Palacios and Heskey.
