The boss was not happy.
"I thought we were dominating the game with 11 men and did enough to get something with 10," said Jones.
"But it is difficult when you are playing against a referee who does not really know the game.
"We talk about respect in the game, but there is no respect. He has not respected my players and the decisions he made were scandalous.
"It is difficult to come to terms with a performance like that from a referee. It was not acceptable.
"When the crowd got up he was giving fouls when there was no need, I thought the crowd played a big part in it. They are right on top of you, but they can't get to you so I don't know what he was worried about.
"It's difficult to play the opposition and certainly the men in black."
It's been confirmed that Cardiff City will appeal the red card handed to Darren Purse.
