Bluebirds travel to The Riverside to face a Middlesbrough side managed by Neil Warnock.
With three wins in six games since Warnock took over Middlesbrough are almost safe, a position they were most certainly not when Jonathan Woodgate was sacked. All of Warnock's wins have come away from home with 'Boro not winning at The Riverside since Boxing Day.
A draw in the Hull v Luton game would mean Middlesbrough were safe however they get on against Cardiff. They need a win to guarantee their own fate, a draw against City would save them if Charlton lose at home to Wigan.
As for Cardiff. A win at Middlesbrough coupled with Millwall and Swansea not winning will ensure a play off place today.
We can't be knocked out of a play off challenge today but we don't want to lose the advantage of being the team in 6th place for the final games on Wednesday.
Neil Harris:
"We are not getting too far ahead of ourselves. We had a positive against Derby but we need a good result against Boro."
