Lee Probert has only officiated two matches so far this season, both in the Premier League - home wins for Birmingham and Everton over Portsmouth and Wigan respectively.
Last year he was the man in charge of City 3 - 1 Burnley on Easter Monday, prior to that he was the ref for Q.P.R. 1 - 0 City back in November when he sent off Darren Purse and Miguel Comminges.
His first ever game in charge of Cardiff was on Boxing Day, 2005. City lost at home to Plymouth and Darren Purse was sent off in that one as well.
