Match officials for Cardiff v Swansea

Last updated : 02 April 2009 By Michael Morris
Mr Dean will be assisted by D Cann and M Scholes. The 4th official will be Steve Tanner.

Mike Dean's last game in charge of City was the FA Cup Final last May. On that day he booked three Pompey players (eventually) after allowing them to get away with several niggling, bookable offences in the first half.

He also ruled out Glen Loovens effort that would have put Cioty level at half time. Still that's in the past. We move on.

This season Dean has taken charge of 45 games, mostly in the Premier League and has issued 154 yellow cards and 10 red cards. The earliest Cardiff game I can find him officiating was 10 years ago when City drew 0 - 0 away at Cambridge on April 3rd, 1999.
