Craig Pawson is the referee for Cardiff City's home game with Newcastle Utd this coming Saturday, 12:30pm.
Pawson sent of Phil Jagielka at Molineux last Saturday issuing the first red card of the season.
The South Yorkshire official last took chanrge of a Cardiff City match in January 2017. That ended well with City beating Bristol City 3 - 2 at Ashton Gate.
Last season Pawson officiated 34 games last season issuing 112 yellow cards and 4 red, two of them on the opening day.
The earliest recorded Cardiff game he took charge of was the 3 - 0 home win over Blackburn as City closed in on promotion to the Premier League in April 2013. In the 2013/14 season he officiated City's away games at Fulham and Man Utd.
