David Marshall (pictured saving an effort from Aiden McGeady) helped guide Scotland to a 1 - 0 home win over the Republic of Ireland at Celtic Park on Friday night.
The win keeps Scotland in the running for qualification to France 2016. Defeat would have almost certainly endede their hopes.
Shaun Maloney scored the winning goal in the second half. Former Cardiff keeper David Forde was in goal for the Irish.
David Marshall is a terrific goalkeeper. Certainly kills that old nonsensical cliché about Scottish keepers being useless.
