"The manager hasn't said anything to me about playing on Boxing Day - but I'm ready if he picks me.
"I don't know if the manager is going to make changes but I must admit it would be nice to have a crack at the first team. I can't say too much about the Walsall game but I think the manager knows I'm ready."
The current holder in the blue corner Neil Alexander
"I want to be in the side against Walsall. I don't want to dwell on the mistakes, I want to put them behind me and as far as I am concerned the Millwall game is history.
"Everyone makes mistakes. It's just that goalkeeper's get highlighted more because it usually costs a goal. Goalkeepers have to be stronger characters and I have grown up a lot in the last few years working with our goalkeeping coach George Wood."
Lennie Lawrence will have decisions to make when City play Walsall on Boxing Day (12 noon).
Does that patient Martyn Margetson get a chance or will Lennie stick with current 1st choice Neil Alexander?
As you can see both players want the shirt but it'sd Lennie that has to make the right choice. I don't expect us to find out until the team is read out on Friday morning.
