Steve Coppell:
"I thought the referee did his best to let play go on a number of occasions, but what happened [with Graham Kavanagh] was just eight yards away from him.
"He saw what he saw and acted accordingly.
"Overall we were decent value for the points. Darren Morgan is certainly a match-winner, you need more in the Championship, but he is working on it.
"It got a little bit unconventional at the end as they threw everything at us. They made life difficult for us at the death.
"We conceded from a set piece which was given away by a silly foul, and we ended up paying for it. It could have been points wasted in the end."
Lennie Lawrence:
"Graham is protesting his innocence and I will need to look at the video on Monday before I decide what to do.
"I spoke to the referee and he is open-minded about it. He said that if I think he made a mistake then he's willing to consider it.
"I am more concerned about the two blunders that led to Reading's goals, but at least I can take something from our second-half performance - I was furious last week when we gave away a two-goal lead at Rotherham, but I feel better about this."
