"It shouldn't have been that close. I was disappointed that it wasn't three or four at half-time because we had proven scorers at this level who missed the target.
"I was also disappointed that we conceded a goal from a setpiece because my emphasis in pre-season has been on hard work, especially on setpieces.
"I expected Cardiff to come here with a wounded animal mentality after they lost last week and I think that their 4-5-1 formation showed that they were looking to frustrate us.
"But my players responded with enthusiasm and vigour and the quality was there for all to see. Morten Bisgaard's goal was worthy of the entrance fee. That's as good as anything we have seen so far this season."
"Ten bookings suggests it was a bloodbath, but it was nothing like that."

"We are trying to change the whole football club around in five weeks and that's not really going to happen.
"We have got to be patient and keep working at it. If people lose their heads and start feeling sorry for themselves, then it's not going to work.
"We are not the first club that's had to change things around and, make no mistake, it's been a big, big turnaround. Until we get to know each other, then we will be indifferent.
"We are trying to find everyone's strengths and weaknesses and it's frustrating, but we have got to keep going.
"We weren't kidding ourselves after we beat Leeds because we knew there was a lot of hard work to be done.
"It is going to take time and we need to be patient. There are no panic buttons being pressed because there is good quality in the dressing room, but we've got to get that consistency."
