"Watford have the same ambitions as most clubs have in this division, they want to get out of it as quickly as they can.
"They have been able to keep the majority of their players from last season and they will come to Ninian Park on a high and we will have to compete with that.
"One of my concerns is that we need to turn our possession into goals - that aside I'm generally happy at our home performances, but goals change games and that is something we must address."
