"The second goal was crucial. We showed a lot of courage and determination against a very good side who have a lot of confidence.
"It's a great three points for us. Without a doubt we should have been out of sight by half-time. There was only one team in it in the first half.
"We had to change our game at half-time due to losing David Nugent which was a big blow.
"But we have now lost just four games in 19 matches. We are pushing ourselves into the top 12 and hopefully we can build on this performance.
"We showed a lot of courage to hang in there when Cardiff were throwing balls back and front towards the end."

"We lost it in the first half because of our poor defensive show as a team.
"We had enough people on the pitch and enough people on the bench, despite not having Jerome.
"At this level you cannot afford to give away goals the way we have because then you are always fighting an uphill battle.
"It was always going to be a difficult place to come to.
"When we have a blip we are all disappointed. We gave away two sloppy goals. We have to be better, week-in and week-out - not to just let someone throw the ball down the line and cross for a goal.
"We need to be better than that. When you have lost your main striker of course it's difficult, but it gives someone else an opportunity to stake their claim."
