"Goals do not come much softer, that's for sure. "It was a really bad goal to concede at a point in the game when we were well on top.
"Once that goal went in we got edgy, and the crowd got edgy too, as a result of us not defending properly.
"In the second half we needed to get a break in front of goal but it didn't happen for us.
"It's a big disappointment to have lost successive home games after having been on a good run but those two games have showed our weakness and we knew the centre of our defence was an area in which we needed to strengthen."

"There were certainly positive signs out there and we got the result to go with it.
"We're delighted to start 2005 like that. But the focus the minute the game ended is to get three points against Nottingham Forest on Monday.
"We've kept two clean sheets on the bounce now, which is a rare occurrence."
