Lennie Lawrence

"I can't say there will be no more players sold but to say there will be 10 out by Friday is nonsense. Quite possibly there will be more departures next week, but not 10.

"It's a feeding frenzy but we are going to deal with it logically.

"It was an emotional win. I told them it would be a game they would remember because the eyes of the world were on them. I'm proud of their response.

"We need three more wins. It's going to be hairy, but we can stay up."

Neil Warnock

"It was always going to be difficult today in the windy conditions but Cardiff adapted to them in the second half much better than we did in the opening period.

"We did not get enough bodies in the box in the first half and Cardiff had two or three chances and managed to take one of them.

"We dominated the first half but should have then more as we created nothing and never looked like scoring throughout the entire game.

"Cardiff coped with the conditions and they fully deserved their victory with a strong second half performance.

"Our defeat was not down to fatigue by our players just a lacking in quality on the day."
