"We didn't start the game well, and then obviously grew into the game." said Steve Morison. "We didn't make the most of our moments that we had, and we're disappointed with that.
"We got one penalty, and should have scored that, and we should have had a second penalty. The second one is a stonewall penalty - it's in the box by a yard. But, we can't change it now.
"It was a difficult one today, because we didn't know what they were going to do. They made a lot of changes - they changed their formation, and their style of play.
"We had to freshen it up, and try to hurt them regardless of what shape it was on the turnover, which we did at times in the first half, after the first ten or fifteen minutes."
“We are very happy for all of the players and the staff,” said Narcis Pelach. “I really think that the group needed this. We spoke (to the players) to say ‘we have to go to the pitch on Saturday and offer effort and attitude because this is what we did last season.
“We're not the best, but we're fighting. We're looking at each other on the pitch. I’m very happy for the players because they did it for all the staff and for the win. This is what we need to do every training session, every game, every Saturday and every Tuesday night because the Championship is very, very demanding.”
“After the manager has gone, it's important to change the formation.
“It was part of the game plan to move forward and press high. We said to the players ‘don’t look back. Every time you have the ball - always look forward.’ In the first half, we were doing exactly this.
“After the match, the players were very happy.
