Ince has just celebrated the birth of a daughter and has told Cardiff he will let them know on Friday if he want to move to the Welsh capital.
A fee has been agreed with Blackpool and terms agreed with the agent so now it's upto Tom to decide.
Malky Mackay said
"We've had a bid accepted by Blackpool. We've agreed terms with the agent.
"Tom and his dad were both on holiday and on a professional course at the time, so Monday was the earliest they could get down to us. We had a good chat, a cup of tea and a biscuit and a look about the place.
"Tom said the last couple of days he had a domestic issue to deal with, but Friday morning the ball's in their court and on Friday morning we'll have a decision one way or another."
Asked whether he felt Ince was keen on a switch to south Wales, Mackay added: "I can only say from the chat we had, we had a very amicable, friendly chat and they asked me a lot of questions about where his career could go forward, where I see him in terms of the type of player he is and what's going on here.
"After that, then that's probably something for him and his family to decide.
"He was certainly very impressed by the stadium, training ground and the city in general during our conversation and the plans for Cardiff City going forward."
