They will be asked to invest up to £50,000 each to enable the club to buy Koumas immediately - and every investor would effectively part own the player!
Cardiff City have agreed a fee of £2m for the talented Koumas, a talisman whose arrival would spark a new rush of season ticket sales. But City don't have the £500,000 down-payment needed to clinch a deal with West Brom, who own the Welsh international.
There could also be a problem meeting the wage demands of Koumas, in excess of £10,000 a week.
