Harris was a loan signing himself for us in the 2004-05 season and, I make it, is one of the eight former City players now managing a league club (along with John Carver,Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink,Robert Page,Neil Ardley,Gareth Ainsworth,Dean Saunders and Ronnie Moore).
A debut for Declan John as Barnsley won their sixth game in a row at Oldham and moved into the play-off places. He played at left-back but has said he sees himself more as a winger which is interesting. Rhys Healey came on at the end of Colchester's home defeat by Crawley and Tommy O'Sullivan re-joined Port Vale just in time to be left out of their squad to play Swindon.
Not a great weekend for our League 2 boys. David Tutonda was subbed during Newport's draw,Danny Johnson didn't get on for Stevenage and Deji Oshilaja's AFC Wimbledon failed to hold on to a lead with ten men and lost 3-2 at Exeter.
Filip Kiss played the whole game for Ross County as they came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Hamilton and Kevin Theophile-Catherine's St Etienne won 3-2 at Metz. Etien Velikonja played 87 minutes for Lierse in a 0-0 draw but no place in the Malaga squad for the injured Javi Guerra.
Also injured is Mats Moller Daehli at Freiburg (with a patellasehnenreizung apparently, sounds painful). Of our other ex-players,Craig Conway took advantage of a Roger Johnson mistake to score for Blackburn while Jobi McAnuff,Cameron Jerome and some bloke called Aaron Ramsey also scored.
