Cardiff are 4 points behind 2nd place with 8 games to go. There has been a lot of criticism and comment about the position of the club in the table.
Many believe we should be running away with things with our 'best squad ever'. It's even gotten to the stage where fans are launching angry exchanges with Jay Bothroyd on Twitter about his effort towards the team. Have an opinion or a criticism of the player by all means but to appear to make it into some sort of internet vendetta is pathetic. I don't understand what our fans are hoping to achieve by going to war with one of their own at such a crucial time of the season.
There's a funny atmosphere around the club at the moment and I can't quite put my finger on it. Nerves? Pressure? Are we under achieving? Are the club doing enough to give the fans something to cheer about? A win today would be a huge release of pressure. Now is the time to pull together. We are going to have to more than match the team spirit that Norwich have got.
We have the best chance, certainly in my lifetime, of making automatic promotion to the top flight. Stay together and we may just make it this time.
