Let the football do the talking.

Cardiff City go under the media spotlight on Saturday evening. Our biggest local rival, Bristol City, visit for a top of the table football match.

The last two words of the sentence above says it all, football match. We want to be remembered by the thousands watching on SKY for a superb game of football, for being fans who support their club and enjoy the happenings on the pitch and not off it.

Because of the tension, the past and the possibility of fans clashing the Bristol Fans have to be "herded" over the bridge. I've no doubt that we will be subjected to the same treatment next April.

All becuase people cannot follow their team without wanting to drag the club into the papers for the wrong reasons.

We have a new stadium riding on the behaviour of our supporters, remember that.

If you have any love for Cardiff City you will come to Ninian Park and support your team. If you have any other agenda you are not welcome. Please do not come.

Can I offer a warm welcome to the 552 Bristol fans who have bought a ticket for the game. You will be greeted with a very passionate atmosphere, of course the crowd will be very partisan, it's to be expected, we want our team to win. Outside of the 90 minutes of action I wish you well and hope you have a good trip here and back.
