"The one downside of the tour is that we have conceded four goals." Lennie told the Western Mail. "It's disappointing, especially when you consider the way we were defending at the end of last season. The manner of the goals we have conceded is disappointing."
City were beaten 2 - 0 by Frem, newly promoted to the Danish 1st Division.
Lawrence continued
"This match against Frem was a good workout for us. In terms of demands, this was my best pre-season game as a manager for four years. Frem start their season on Saturday and it showed against us - they were fitter and stronger than us. If they were playing back home, they would be a top Division Two side."
Lennie has one more game on tour, on Wednesday the Bluebirds play Swedish side IFK Malmo. There should be some good news with the addition of John Robinson to the squad. He is due in Sweden today to join up with the party.
Lennie has other injury worries, Peter Thorne is nursing a foot injury while Gavin Gordon has a groin injury.
Lennie finished by saying
"We showed some good technical ability out their and the players worked hard," Lawrence went on. "We also had some opportunities but we didn't take them. I criticised the substitutes after the Koge game but against Frem they worked hard. Gavin Gordon has got a groin injury and we're without John Robinson (knee) and Peter Thorne (foot) so we're short of bodies out here."
