The only comments from Lennie say

It's claimed Goater is a main target, the 33 year old has scored 104 goals in 189 starts for Man City. Also linked is Dean Windass, he was on loan at Sheff Utd but was not in the play off final squad, it's claimed Lennie has had secret talks.
These rumours may have some fact in them, they may not. The cynic in me treats these claims as rumours and nothing else.
The two players mentioned were not the only two linked players. In the Sunday press we are connected to
John Moncur (36) West Ham midfielder, as well as Danny Coles and Scott Murray of Bristol City. Several Wimbledon players includng Joel McAnuff, Gino Padula of QPR and Gary Speed!
It's all speculation.
