Alan Lee is fit again and hopig to play a part in this weekends FA Cup tie against Sheffield Utd at Ninian Park, Saturday 12 noon. Lee returned from a long lay off with a subs appearance at Norwich but another injurty in training put him out for the last couple of weeks. Now he's ready to prove himself.
"If I'm involved on Saturday and I can do something that brings us a good result, then that will go some way to repaying the gaffer who signed me," Lee told the Western Mail
I will be eternally grateful to Lennie for giving me this chance at Cardiff.
"He obviously believes in me. He put his money where his mouth is - and I would like to repay him.
"I want to be playing my part in the team. I want to try and give everyone a lift, and I'd like to think I would make a difference."
"I don't think Lennie and Sam would have paid nearly £1m for a player who didn't offer anything different.
"I would love to be involved against Sheffield United.
"This is an ideal time for players at the club who are not in the team or who are coming back from injury to push for a first-team place."
"The FA Cup is not top of our priorities at Cardiff. A cup run is nice and a big draw will be exciting but, let's face it, we aren't going to win this competition.
"But a win over Sheffield United is important for morale reasons. It will instil confidence in the team.
"If we can get a good win then hopefully we can forget about this bad run."
