"It looks like I am going to be out for the next few weeks because it's a hernia and it needs to be sorted," he said.
"It has hampered me and some days have been better than others, but I have not been myself. It is okay if I am stood solid and the ball comes into me, but sprinting and striking the ball is hard. It's not a chronic pain that will stop you playing, but I knew it was getting gradually worse."
