Lee called into Ireland squad for Euro qualifier

Alan Lee is back in the Irish squad. There are allegations today that Irish boss Brian Kerr will be watching Cardiff City at Walsall on Saturday but he has already called Lee into the squad for the Euro 2004 qualifier against Russia on Sep 6th and for the friendly against Turkey on September 10th.
Congratulations to Lee who scored the first goal of his Cardiff City career on Monday in the win over Derby.
Kerr said
"Alan scored for his new club on Monday and that will have given him confidence."
Sources in Ireland tell me that Kerr may add to the squad for the Russia game with Graham Kavanagh a possible. On that we will have to wait and see but well done to Alan.
