“I’ve told the players straight.
“I’m not saying for one moment that there’s a drink culture at Cardiff, but I want to make absolutely certain that we do everything possible to ensure that we are physically and mentally prepared for the rest of the season.
“I’ll say now that there is nothing wrong with the players’ attitude, but everyone is nervous and uptight right now.
“We must focus on what we have to do and make certain we conduct ourselves properly. Nothing must get in the way of Cardiff City and the challenge for promotion.”
Next Saturdays player of the year dinner will be a dry affair for the playing staff. The annual do for City's fans and and players will not be a promotion celebration as the Bluebirds will still have work to do before the seasons end.
