Koumas desperate to stay at Ninian Park

'I know that Peter (Ridsdale) and the gaffer (Dave Jones) are doing everything they can behind the scenes to sort out my contract with West Brom,' Koumas told the Echo.

'I have spoken to them just a few days ago about my position and how much I'm enjoying my football here at Cardiff.

'I told them that I'm ready and willing to sign for Cardiff as soon as possible - the quicker the better as far as I'm concerned.

'I know they are doing their best to sort it all out at West Brom.

'But I have to stress I'm not interested in going back.
