The 20 year old has signed a one year loan deal from parent club Slovan Bratislava. As the man himself describes he can play defensive and attacking midfield roles.
“I can play a defensive midfield role, but I don’t have a problem attacking and getting forward.
“I want to play Championship matches. I want to grow as a footballer. This is a big challenge for me.
“I have agreed a 12-months loan deal and want to make the most of that. Slovan Bratislava did not want me to make a permanent move. In the end both clubs agreed on a year-long loan spell.”
“Personally, I want to stay longer with Cardiff City, well beyond the end of this loan.”
Kiss is a Slovakian U21 international has given up the chance of playing in the Champions League qualifiers to play for Cardiff City. He watched the defeat against Celtic from the stands at CCS.
“I am a little bit sad not to be able to take part in the Champions League qualification, but you don’t often get an offer to play in an English League.
“I have watched Championship football on television and, for me, it is the best second tier league in the world."
