Cardiff City have all but completed the signing of Kenny Miller from Bursaspor.
City have beaten Rangers to the signing after coming up with an offer acceptable to the Turkish side.
Miller passed his medical last night and is just waiting for international clearance to come through.
"We are really just waiting on some documents coming through from Bursaspor," Malky Mackay said this morning. "I would love to have it completed by the end of the day.
"Medical is done and passed. We would have to talk to Kenny about whether he's fit to play tomorrow. If he feels he wants to play, then absolutely. But if he's not fit we can wait."
Miller is 31, he has 55 Scottish caps scoring 14 goals for his country. He skippered the national side for the first time earlier this year in a 3 - 0 win over Northern Ireland, he also scored in that game. He has played for both Celtic and Rangers and in England for Derby and Wolves. He is coming back from Turkey after struggling to settle.
He will become Malky Mackay's 8th signing.
