Brian Kerr has confirmed today the Graham Kavanagh will play some part of Ireland's friendly against Canada next Tuesday at Lansdowne Rd.
Kav was called into the sqaud for the final Euro 2004 qualifier but did not make the 16 onduty for the game against Switzerland. This time though Kerr says he will get his chance
"I intend to use Graham against Canada but because you can't be sure who you will have available when the game comes around, I'm not sure what part he will play."
Kav has the chance to cement his place back in the Irish set up, Kerr continued
"Of course he is part of my plans for the future, there's no point in bringing him into the squad if he wasn't."
Kav's last cap came back in 1999.
