In a frank, exclusive interview, Cardiff City captain Graham Kavanagh opens up about the Bluebirds' run of bad results...

GRAHAM Kavanagh has heard it all before.

A team is struggling, flak is flying from the terraces - and of course, there's a big rift in the home dressing room.

Believe the doom mongers and the Bluebirds are a team heading for crisis on and off the field.

And following that reasoning, then it will not be long before open warfare erupts among the squad themselves.

Tell that to Kavanagh though and he bristles at the suggestion of any squabbling and confrontation at Ninian Park, even though it's been one hell of a black Christmas for everyone.

"Absolute rubbish," was the Irish international's response when the matter was put to him - and he was happy to elaborate.

Kavanagh blsts boo boys over Langley abuse

BLUEBIRDS fans need to get off Richard Langley's back and see the bigger picture, according to Graham Kavanagh.

The former Queens Park Rangers star has come in for an increasing amount of stick from his own supporters in recent weeks as the team's form has stuttered.

But Kavanagh hit out at the boo boys, saying that Langley has been trying to do a job for the team and has had to curtail his individual instincts.

" The tremendous stick Richard Langley is getting at the moment is just unbelievable," said Kavanagh.

"Let's be clear about this. Richard has been asked to do a number of jobs, and it's a heavy burden to carry on such young shoulders.
