Juan Cala has had his contract terminated and has left Cardiff City.
The move comes less than a week after Cala expressed his unhappiness on Twitter about training at the Academy.
'Cardiff City Football Club can confirm that on Wednesday, 3rd December 2014, Juan Cala's contract with the club was terminated by mutual agreement,' said a club statement.
'The player leaves Cardiff City with immediate effect.
'We would like to thank Juan for his contribution and wish him the very best for his future.'
Cala took to Twitter again and apologised to Vincent Tan (something spooky about how people seem to be made to apologise to VT - remember Malky had to do it as well) and thanked the fans for their support.
I wish to apologise to Tan Sri Vincent Tan for my recent comments. He had nothing to do with my move to the academy.

Cala barely had a look in this season despite appearing to be a decent enough player when he played in the Premier League last season. He also scored twice at Everton and Southampton for Cardiff.
