"I was puzzled by his performance," said Jones. "We were let down by him and he spoilt the game.
"I asked to see him and he asked me to give him half and hour, I will have to probably wait an hour by his watch. He allowed them to bully us, shove us and push us all game.
"His timekeeping has cost me an extra two points and the game slipped by him.
"Three minutes of stoppage time were indicated, but the lad's scored in something like the fourth minute at least, so I don't know what's happened there.
"I can't fault my side, I thought they were fantastic today. They coped with everything they threw at us and when we were able to get the ball down we played some good football.
"It's disappointing because this is an important game but we've been let down by the ref."
Adrian Boothroyd
"It was really important we didn't lose today. I don't know what the problem is playing at home but sometimes you can want something too much it becomes harder and harder.
"You can feel it in the team and you can feel it in the crowd but I'm sure it will come sooner or later.
"The way we play means the away games should take care of themselves but it is important we start to win at home too. We need to keep building on our away results and start to get more points here."
Boothroyd admitted that his side were outplayed for much of the game but said the late equaliser was testament to the never-say-die attitude of his players.
"We didn't play with a lot of brain today. You need to play with muscle or guile and today we didn't really have either.
"But we have all that passion and character to never give up.
"The second goal we conceded was awful. Although I'm happy we didn't lose today, I'm fully aware we have a lot of work to do on the training ground and one or two additions to make in January."
