"I'm not saying the way Neil plays is good or bad - it works for him and I do what I think is right for me," said Jones.
"So I will have a cup of tea with Neil and we will do battle again further on down the line. Neil is a master of playing psychological games and I'm okay with that. We do have history with Palace and it was a physical battle.
"That history will continue. It's not a problem with me - you have to stand up to a team like that.
"I thought the referee had some big decisions to make and I don't think he made them.
"There was one incident in the first half that should have been a second yellow card.
"We don't want people sent-off, but at the end of the day there are certain decision that have to make and, like players, referees need to rise to the big occasion.
"I thought we might have gone on to win the game and Palace are always a tough team to play against.
"I thought that the players did well to come back from the setback of going behind early on.
"They had some big people out there and we had to deal with that. We showed a lot of grit and determination.
"We are not the most physical of teams but we did well in that department."
With a race row erupting and allegations flying around Jones just said:
"I will let the authorities deal with that," said Jones. "There are certain things that we are trying to stamp out in football."
Palace did not comment on that matter but Neil Warnock did say
"They didn't deserve to beat us and if any were punches were thrown they would probably have missed.
"I was very pleased with the performance and disappointed we didn't win as we had a few chances.
"It is very difficult playing here as Cardiff are a very good side but we didn't lay down and they had to earn everything against us."
