"I have a massive job to do here and while I'm manager I'll give it everything I have," said Jones.
"I'm happy here and my family have settled.
"But you can never say never in football, you don't know what's round the corner.
"At my stage as a manager I don't apply for jobs, I let my management skills hopefully do the talking for me.
"But it's nice to be linked with jobs and talked about.
"I know I'm doing something right because my players are doing it on the field week in, week out.
"I'm here at the moment and I have to do the job to the best of my ability for my own pride."
In his first season here he has the City in 8th place and still in with a play off shout with just 6 games to go. The talk is just rumours at the moment but with Jones doing so well it's to be expected that he will be linked to managerless clubs.
Hearts have recently sacked Graham Rix with Mick McCarthy getting the boot from Sundarland.
