"I think the players are OK, obviously I can't stop other people getting carried away.

"But within the camp itself I don't have to do a great deal, basically it's self-governing in the changing room.

"They know what's expected of them. I think the comments the players are making show that nobody's getting carried away with things.

"There's still a long, long way to go as I keep saying. When you're winning games you can't stop what other people are saying or writing, but we know it's a long season.

"I've been there before and what you've got to do is make sure you keep doing the right things. You have to do the things that have got you the results in the first place.

"Why change things? That would be stupid. You don't change things that have been put in place since we have been here and are now starting to come into fruition."

"We moaned last year that we were up there and not getting the full houses, now all of a sudden we are." said Jones. "Hopefully this will be our third full-house on the trot so it means we've managed to get the fans back.

"Now basically we've got to keep them coming, that's what we all want. Everyone wants to play in front of a full-house rather than a half-empty stadium

"So it's important that we keep doing it. As I said on Saturday, if you get 2,500 or 3,000 fans travelling away then their expectation is that we're going to put on a good show for them - and luckily we did. So now that builds the pressure every game. But if you don't enjoy and embrace that pressure then you might as well get out of the game."

"Southampton are one of the favourites in the division. They were picked out at the start of the season," added Jones of his former club.

"George has done a good job down there, he's done a rebuilding process and he's brought in some good players.

"I'm sure George, Southampton and the fans will be expecting to be up there or thereabouts when the final games of the season come around."

George Burley

"It will be a very tough game because Cardiff are flying at the moment.

"They are top of the league and a very good team and they will take some beating, a bit like Reading last season.

"But we will go there and take the game to them and try to win it as we did on Saturday at Leicester when we created enough chances to have won."
