Jones is preparing his squad (still depleted by a lack of signings because of a transfer embaro), for Saturday's game against Deportivo and then the seasons opener against Sheffield Utd on Sunday week.
He commented that things change and you never know when that can happen
"You never say never in football," he continued, "because you don`t know what`s round the corner. People can easily think you`re not doing well and then get rid of you.
"There`s nothing to talk about, though, it`s only speculation and I`m just getting on with my job here.
