"At the moment there are two or three clubs but nothing concrete," Morris' agent Jonathan Barnett told the BBC.
"Two are in the Premiership and one is from the Nationwide. We are hopeful of resolving the situation within the next couple of weeks but Jody is keen to make the right move as it is a big decision. But Jody is optimistic of sorting out his future so he can join his new team-mates in time to prepare for next season."
It's more likely though that Morris, available for free on a Bosman could go to Portsmouth.
‘Jody Morris is a good footballer and a good Bosman. He's one of those lads who gets people fired up around him. He gets his foot in and can play," said Pompey boss Harry Redknapp.
‘I'll have a chat with him when he gets back off holiday – but he's not the only one around. I've got to be sure I get the right one.'
Morris is thought to want £10,000 a week for his services.
