Comparisons will though be made with City's top scorer of last season. Cameron Jerome left Ninian Park in the summer to join Birmingahm for a few million quid.
Chopra's arrival at NP though has been far more effective than Jerome's at Birmingham.
Chopra has 21 goals to Jerome's 7.
In that respect City have the thick end of the wedge.
Jerome has said ahead of the game.
"I have a lot thank the Cardiff City coaching staff for.
'And that's why if I do score or Birmingham do win I won't be celebrating because I don't think it would be right.
'Of course, I'm employed by the Blues and that's where all my efforts and energy are channelled too and they are my first priority.
'But I do hope that come the end of the season Cardiff have made the play-offs and gained promotion that way.
'I always look for their results after matches.
Hopefully Cameron won't be put in the situation where he might have to celebrate.
Cameron appreciates where he came from and concluded by saying
'I went for a lot of money at a time when Cardiff needed the cash.
'I knew that the move was not just good for me but Cardiff as well, considering I cost them nothing.
'I wanted to further my career. Cardiff wanted the money so it served us both well.
'It took me some time to find my feet at this club. But I do feel more relaxed now and believe I'm a better all round player now then I was at Ninian Park.
'I still have a lot to learn and have time to do it.
'But I will never forget what Cardiff City did for me and the way that Lennie Lawrence took me under his wing in the early stages and looked after me.'
