Alan Lee's header went in off Mark Hudon to give Palace an early lead. Peter Whittingham levelled from a Chris Burke cross.
Ater that City dominated possession but created few decent chances. The talking points though involved the referee who showed he had no balls at all when he failed to show N'Diaye a red card for a blatant challenge that 100 times out of 100 would earn a yellow card. As the oaf (N'Diaye) had already been booked he should have walked.
The weak willed referee was persued by Palace skipper Shaun Derry and it appears the Palace skipper convinced the ref to "tell off" N'Diaye but not book him.
A massive claim for a City penalty was waved away by referee Tanner late on as well as the official made himself look like Palace's 12th man.
Things got nasty near the end and the final whistle brought many boos aimed at the officials. Many players came together and there was reports of trouble in the tunnel as well.
City never really got going in the game. Palace went away happy with a point. The sour taste though means that Palace and their manager remain an orrible lot.
