Injury blow for Croft

Gary Croft has damaged cruciate ligaments and will be out for several months. The City defender was expected to be out for several weeks but admitted to Cardiff City World yesterday that the injury is far more serious.

The best expectation would be a return to match fitness near the end of the season. Croft only has a one year contract and is devastated by the news.
