He's been in intensive care since but over the last 24 hours news of his improvement has come through.
A spokesman at Neville Hall hospital told the Echo
'Nicky Fish is still in intensive care but he is waiting for a bed to become available on another ward, so he can leave intensive care. His condition has much improved.'
Kingsley Lloyd a close friend who has been informing the fans through this website about Nicky's condition said
"Nick and family have been boosted by all the good wishes of CCFC fans. He's been gradually improving under the good care of the medics. He's a 100% gem and we are all elated at his progress."
