The 25 year old Japanese midfielder received clearance today to sign for City in time to play against Glenn Hoddle's Wolves on Sunday (1pm).
Earlier in the day doubt was cast on the deal when the Echo claimed the Home Office was closed and no work permit would be issued but whatever needed to be done has been and the former Arsenal and Fulham player will experience his first Championship game this weekend.
Inanoto is currently a WBA player but has not started a game for them since a summer move from Japan. He made a playing return last week for Japan in an international against Germany.
He will wear the No. 26 shirt and goes straight into the squad for Sundays game.
