Cardiff City have said they were interested in the player and made an approach to Reading in December that was turned down. The player himself said he'd heard there had been interest from Cardiff while Reading boss Alan Pardew claimed
"I've not spoken to Lennie at all this season, and there has certainly been no approach from Cardiff about Sammy Igoe."
Igoe has just regained his place in the Reading side but his contract is up at the end of the season and Cardiff may consider waiting.
