Malky Mackay chose to have a pop at the officials after City's loss to Hull. Noticebly Ben Turner's disallowed goal and what seemed an obvious offside for Hull's third.
"Ben's disallowed goal was a horrendous decision by the assistant referee." he said after the 3 - 0 home defeat.
"It was incredible and I will send the DVD clip into the Football Association because the officials need to become better.
"But then it is the same official who gave the third goal. I have seen it again and he was at least a yard offside. It was another horrendous decision.
"People will see the scoreline and think we have been torn apart but it wasn't the case."
His opposite number Nick Barmby was cock-a-hoop
"It's a good win for us. I'm really pleased with the way we played and the fact we came to Cardiff, scored three goals and kept a clean sheet against a side with a lot of attacking players.
"On the whole, it was the best performance of our run. We have had some good 45 minutes such as against Leeds United but I asked the players to make sure we weren't sloppy in the second half or vice-versa.
"We needed to put it together and we finally did it.
"Some of our football, the chances we created and the movement of our front players was pleasing. We caused them a lot of problems.
"It's a psychological boost to move into the top six but there's a long way to go. We will remain humble and keep our feet on the ground, work hard and see where it takes us."
