"The truth is we have to deal with injuries and suspensions - and whoever comes in has to do a job," said Hudson.
"Sometimes we're going to have to do the job without some of these players.
"We have to learn how to deal with that."
Hudson made reference to Seyi Olofinjana who's been a massive infuelnce during each game he's played.
"Seyi has been great since he came into the team and I have said that right from the word go," said Hudson.
"He is a big man-mountain and he is going well. But we didn't have him last season and managed to get to the Championship play-off final.
"The players that we have got to come in for people like him are good enough."
City head to Ipswich this weekend on the back of the defeat at Leciester and Husdon hopes we will see a repeat of what happened last time we lost in midweek.
"We were beaten at Peterborough in a midweek game in the Carling Cup and followed that with a win at Portsmouth," he said.
"So hopefully that will be the identical situation this weekend.
"We're obviously disappointed in losing to Leicester but we were not good enough.
"We didn't keep the ball enough and that never really gave us a chance in the second half.
"We just did not control the game and they kicked on a gear. We could not match them."
