World Cup final referee Howard Webb will officiate Cardiff City's opening Premier League fixture this weekend.
City have a long record with Webb stretching back over 10 years to the 2003 play off final victory over QPR at the Millennium Stadium.
Webb is the leading referee in the Premier League, he has officiated The Community Shield, The League Cup final, the FA Cup final, a Champions League final and a World Cup final.
The ex policeman was awared the MBE in 2011.
His assistants on Saturday are: M Mullarkey, D Cann. The Fourth Official is: K Stroud.
Last season he issued 148 yellow cards and 5 red cards in 42 matches.
