The player of pre season so far for the Development side has been Kadeem Harris.
The 20 year old winger has scored five goals in four games and has set up most of the others scored.
Cardiff have beaten Haverfordwest, Barry, Port Talbot and yesterday Hereford Utd.
Harris scored the first and set up Nicky Maynard for the second. Harris' performances have not gone unnoticed by Malky Mackay.
“We are watching the progress of all development team players closely,” said Mackay.
“For their long-term future there are certain standards they all have to hit which first-team players take as a given.
“Kadeem is one of a number who have had to learn that. It’s not just about talent, not just about technique. It’s about making certain you are an all-round professional.
“That spills down from myself, staff and first-team players and is beginning to show within the development squad.”
