Hammam has to look for better quailty players

Sam Hammam today revealed why Cardiff City's barnstorming surge to the top of the Championship table has given him a problem - he now has to look for even better quality players.

It's a situation that has led the Ninian Park supremo to playfully brand Dave Jones and his squad 'b*****ds' as he assessed just what the knock-on effects of the Bluebirds rise are going to be in terms of their transfer market dealings, just two days before the August deadline.

In an exclusive interview with the Echo, Hammam also stressed that:

There are no players available better than the ones City already have that could be brought in on the money the club has available.

The bumper crowds are definitely having a galvanising effect on the players.
