Andy Legg, Leo FW, Gareth Ainsworth and Steve Jenkins are all in discussions with Lennie today. All four are out of contract with Legg and Ainsworth looking likely for new deals while Leo FW and Steve Jenkins futures are in the balance.
Players that are on their way out are Lee Fowler, who has returned to Coventry after his loan spell. In contract players told they are no longer wanted are Layton Maxwell and Des Hamilton, both have been told to look for new clubs.
Released out of contract players are Simon Heal, Tony Wallis, Martyn Giles, Andy Jordan, Mark Walton, Fan Zhiyi and Gethin Jones.
Lennie is looking for a first team squad of 22 - 24 senior players with 6 - 8 young players to make up a 30 man squad.
Hamilton and Maxwell both have a year to run on their contracts but had limited chances in the first team this season, neither player made a solid claim for a first team place.
